The brighter the sun, the more flowers grow, and we’re happy that so many flowers are available again. One flower even more beautiful than the next. Besides the undisputed queen of summer, the sunflower, there are lots of other flowers that trigger that same happy summer feeling.
Vertical gardening sounds like a modern term, but wall climbing vines have been doing the same thing for years. Especially in smaller, urban gardens or on balconies, a green wall can make all the difference. It’s a simple, natural way to add a little bit of wild nature to your outdoor space.
The gem of the garden, that should be the panicled hydrangea’s (Hydrangea paniculate) nickname. This graceful plant stands out with her panicles filled with flowers, which change colour as they bloom, treating us to different looks throughout the season.
Everyone’s excited about summer: vacation, no commitments, plenty of time to relax and just do whatever you feel like. Unfortunately, this period is a little less than perfect for our plants.
