Plantscaping webshop

2020 is quickly drawing to an end. And what an unforgettable year it has been for everyone, to say the least! As a result of COVID-19, the world, our lives and our work have changed fundamentally. As far as work is concerned, what will interior landscaping look like next year? Will there be less office space? More meeting spaces with vertical landscaping?

The times may be uncertain, but what we do know is that COVID-19 caused us problems in getting hold of our plants. Importing dracaenas, yuccas, sansevierias and other plants was very difficult. Almost half of employees were not allowed to work in the fields in Asia and Middle and South America. This meant that plant imports decreased by over 50%. For the first part of 2021, we still expect some difficulties when it comes to importing plants. This will continue to cause some availability issues. 

Sustainability 
2020 also brought us some good things. There are now more growers producing their products sustainably. More and more key growers are generating 100% of their own electricity via solar panels or by using warm water from 2-3 kilometers deep below ground. More growers are using cardboard boxes and paper sleeves instead of plastic trays and sleeves.

Looking forward to the new year, we are happy to announce that we have upgraded our Plantscaping webshop. The Noviflora webshop now has an extra function for Plantscaping products. This should make it easier to find interior, exterior, indoor and outdoor plants from small to large pot sizes, as well as pots, green walls and tools for your Plantscaping business.
