A recipe with a hint of love – Romantic rose punch

Love is in the air this February 14th. Boost its effects with this romantic punch, irresistably infused with rose petals. Here is a step-by-step guide to making the drink, a sweet and delicious hymn to love.

You will need

- Edible rose petals & small roses 

- 400 g sugar

- 240 ml water

- 750 ml dry white wine

- 750 ml sparkling mineral water

- Your prettiest glasses

- Sieve

- Small saucepan

Get to work 

Combine the sugar and the water in the saucepan and heat the mixture on a medium heat. Stir regularly until the sugar has dissolved, then turn the heat down and add the small roses and edible rose petals. Leave to simmer on a low heat for 15 minutes, making sure the mixture it doesn’t boil. Turn off the heat after 15 minutes and leave to cool for 2-3 hours. Sieve the rose water mixture to ensure that there are no rose petals left behind.

Place ice cubes in attractive glasses, add the rose water, wine and sparkling mineral water and decorate the rose punch with edible rose petals. Serve with love.
