Easy care, easy health
What makes bromeliads so special is that they come with a built-in "water reservoir": the cupped rosette in which they receive water. They can easily go without water for two weeks and don't need additional fertiliser. What's more, they give off extra oxygen. In other words: easy care, easy health.
Geckos

Production planning
It takes around 3 years for a bromeliad to develop into a mature plant. To encourage bromeliads to bloom, they use the natural product Ethylene. By matching the timing of this treatment to market demand, they are able to properly plan the production of flowering plants.
