Poetry with the Peony

It starts with just a bud, a promise of more beautiful things to come. She’s the kind that makes you wait, makes you eager for that one moment.

The unfurling of the petals, a splash of colour emerging from the green, pushing up, up into the sky. Opening softly to reveal a heart of gold. It’s a delicate explosion of petals, timed just right, blink and you might miss it. A peony is a true gift, a sign of real love, luck and flourishing romance. A flower that makes you think, stand still. Pause for a bit and watch nature do its incredible tricks. Be grateful for the spectacle and share it with your loved ones- the time is now.
