Viburnum – A long-lasting snowball
A cheerful flower ball, that will brighten up every bouquet. The flower changes colours from green to white and takes on a round shape. Due its appearance it proudly got the nickname: snowball.
Unlike snowballs, this flower blooms and is available all the way from January till May. The berries will pop open one by one, once they are all open it reveals a breathtaking scented flower.
The soft, round shape of the Viburnum brings calmness and peace. It almost seems like it is designed to bring balance into life. The shape and the lovely light-sweetened scent will have a relaxing effect that turns any space into an ‘Inner Retreat’. However, in the prehistory these lovely bunches could cause some harm, since the long stems were used as an arrow shaft in battle. Not always that innocent after all.

Try to combine the Viburnum with a flower of a different shape to get some contrast in the bouquet, like Lilies, or mix it with other soft coloured flowers. For sure that this bouquet will radiate peace. But make sure that the Viburnum will play a leading role, so you can admire the round-shapes.
