From wallflower to green wall

You can take your Picasso down, it's time to make room for a plant wall! Not only does a green wall look great, but it also offers loads of benefits. It takes up very little space and, what's more, it also acts as soundproofing and gives a sense of peace and luxury.

We see more and more green walls stealing the show in hotels, stores and restaurants worldwide, but they have also found their way into in offices and homes. They get us closer to nature by bringing the outdoors inside. And here's what makes them even better: they are largely maintenance free and require little to no sunlight. In other words, these green walls are perfect for any location!

Vertical plants
One simple way to create a plant wall is to attach planters to a structure on the wall, where plants can be added. You are free to choose which plants to fill your wall with. Will you go for different shades of green or add a splash of colour as well? It's up to you, anything goes! What's more, plants in this system are easy to maintain thanks to the presence of a water reservoir and pump. If a plant is not thriving in the wall, you can simply remove it and replace it with another one.

Moss works of art
Another option for greenery on the wall is a moss painting. You could go for a ready-made version of an existing shape, like a circle or a square, or come up with your own design. Moss in the shape of a world map, letters or a company logo will add a personal touch to the wall. You can create unique patterns and a striking green painting by playing around with different moss colours and textures.
