Nico van der Arend started Arend Roses in the year 1976 out of his pure love of roses. Nowadays, Arend roses are grown on eleven hectares, spread between two locations in the Municipality of Westland. That love for the product is still very much alive and continued by the second generation van der Arend, Remco, and his business partner Richard.
Aware of its role as a progressive grower, KP Holland produces plants of a constant high quality. In addition to the management, the company employs 140 permanent staff members who are dedicated to producing products of the best quality.
Levoplant was the first grower to install a fully automised grow system for its Phaleanopsis cultivation. Many others soon followed. Cultivating in cups, and applying invisible codes on the pots were also unique Levoplant developments.
